I have used this company a few times for oil changes and minor repair work and have been pleased. Their staff are friendly and their shop is always clean. I especially appreciate how they list items that need attention on my van and tell me which ones need to be taken care of first and which can wait. There is no pressure to do everything at once.
If I had to complain about anything it would be that their prices are a bit higher than other mechanics but for the service they provide it is worth the little more I end up paying.
***Update: I took my van in today for an oil change and to check the brakes because they were making noises. I was told the front and rear pads needed to be replaced and the front and rear roters needed to be turned AND I "could use two tires." They said the brakes would cost about $240 for the front and $240 for the rear. I called the shop that I use for tires and asked their price - $165 each (front/rear) so I took it to them. They said I do need front brakes but rear are ok for a while. They didn't say anything about tires. Also, San Luis Bay Motors charged $50 to inspect the brakes where the other shop charged nothing.
Sorry, but I have to change my 4 stars to 2 - they still are friendly, have a clean shop and a decent price for oil change if you have the coupon that is in the paper almost every week, but I've learned my lesson and probably won't be going back.
