I have a leased Saturn that needed to be turned in today. I called first to see if it was ok to bring it to them today. The girl I spoke with on the phone, after putting me on hold to ask a manager, said it was ok to bring my car in.  We arrive at 7:00p.m. and start talking to salesperson Lo, about possibly purchasing the car. After they came back with an offer to purchase the vehicle for 3 times the buy off, we told them we were not interested and that we just wanted to turn the car over to them and go home. This is when Shane, the Internet manager, became involved. The first thing he says to my wife was the person who deals with the end of lease paperwork was only available during the week (Mon-Fri) and that we shouldn't have waited until the last day of our lease to turn in the car. My wife confronted his statement and told him that he was being rude and he changed his attitude for the better for the rest of that specific conversation. He told us that we could bring the car back in tomorrow when the person was there. After going outside and discussing the situation with my wife, I went back in to see if it would be ok to leave the car there overnight so we wouldn't have to drive 2 cars back and forth again. He said, "absolutely not" and that "they would not be liable if anything happened to it." I expressed my views on how that is unfair to us and his response was that we should have just taken it to a different dealership.  He also told me that he was the manager that the girl spoke to and that he told her we should bring the car in on Monday and that that's what she told me on the phone because he was standing right behind her. He basically called me a liar while he was lying to my face. I have not had a single good experience with any dealings with this dealership. Before Saturn went under, the Saturn dealerships always treated us with excellent customer service. I didn't choose to have to deal with Chevy dealerships when I first leased the car. Ever since I've had to take my Saturn to Chevy dealerships it has been a miserable experience each time. I feel like I am being punished for something that I had absolutely no control over. I chose Saturn, not Chevy, and I think that a reputable business would see that it isn't a desirable situation for the customer to deal with and actually go above and beyond what the prior business had established. Instead, it makes me regret ever having purchased the vehicle. My hopes are that people will see my personal experiences with this company and take them into consideration before ever having dealings with this them.
