New Lease on Life at 60!

I have struggled with my weight most of my adult life. I'd go on a diet, lose the weight only to gain it back and then some. The constant ups and downs which I saw as failures began to wear on me. The disappointment I used to feel turned to an acceptance that I was always going to be overweight. At some point, I made the decision to stop trying, I just gave up!
This way to seeing myself came to an abrupt halt when during a routine physical my doctor told me that I was borderline diabetic. This news coupled with me knee problems and degenerative discs in my spine; I realized I had to make a change.
One of my coworkers underwent the gastric bypass surgery but that procedure seemed extremely invasive and was just too extreme for my taste. I remember hearing ads for the lap band procedure and asked my doctor for his thoughts on it. He approved of the procedure but said if I was going to have it done, the ONLY DOCTOR he would refer me to was DR. LIU. I decided to check it out, I figured it wouldn't hurt to meet with him.
From the moment I stepped foot into his office, I knew I was in the right place. The staff was friendly, answered all my questions and even helped work out a reasonable payment plan. Dr. Liu's bedside manner was top notch and any reservations I may have had vanished as soon as I left his office.
I had my procedure back in July of 2010 and have lost 90lbs and I've kept it off!!! I am no longer borderline diabetic, my back and knees no longer give me problems and my energy level is through the roof. I may be 60 but I feel just as good as my 36 year old daughter.
I have Dr. Liu and his staff to thank for the new me. This was the ABSOLUTE BEST DECISION I've ever made and I would recommend Dr. Liu and his staff to anyone looking for a new lease on life.
