Firstly, thanks to Stacey G. for posting Bernard Finley's mobile number. I have been a very long time customer of Light Impressions (more than 30 years) and placed my most recent order almost 3 years ago. Over the subsequent weeks, bits of the order dribbled in a few items at a time, and ultimately, I received perhaps 60% of it.
Then they stopped answering their phone or shipping any merchandise.
I have tried to reach someone there every few weeks for the past few years, with no success. Just now I tried again and got through to someone, who promised to get back to me within an hour.
Then I tried calling Bernard on the number provided by Stacey G. He was actually very apologetic, but blamed the situation on the bad economy. He said the company was being moved back to its original home in Rochester and that I could expect to receive merchandise or a refund as I preferred.
We will see what happens, but I will not assume they have addressed their problems until I see something concrete, i.e., merchandise or a refund.
