I sure wished I would have checked the BBB site BEFORE placing an order with Light Impressions. Amazing how they can take the money, but not deliver product, or refund. I have not received my order for quite awhile so came on here to see if there were any reviews and I was shocked to find out I was a victim of a scam. So I called to ask where my order was and I too got the same story. The item is on back order. So having the website up I read a few comments. I asked to cancel my order and would like a refund immediately. Of course she said, so friendly, that I will receive a refund check in 3 weeks. I asked why does it take 3 weeks for a refund and it is instant for the charge on the credit card. This is our policy she said. I asked for her name and said I will take action if I do not see my refund check. I am sure she was on the phone yawning and saying to herself "yeah, whatever"
I will definitely write to the Attorney General and report this issue. Maybe if everyone sends in a letter of complaint, maybe these people will be caught for fraud and put in jail. This is stealing. So is robbing a bank and people go to jail for that, so how can companies do this and get away with it? How can they have a conscience? Makes me so angry, so please everyone, write your complaints and bombard the Attorney General and get this company caught!!!
Wonder if they pay taxes on the money they collect from all those 'so-called orders' Wonder if the customer service people know they are doing wrong by covering and saying the order is on back-order while the company is stealing money from customers. Plus all the other excuses they probably have a list of them to tell customers when they call asking about their order or wanting a refund. How can this keep happening and they are not shut down or put in jail, every one of them.
I read a review and this person had mentioned that they will try to stall you for 60 days so it causes a problem when trying to contact the credit card company to get your money back or take action. That was helpful as my situation is under 60 days and I will be contacting the credit card company to report it, maybe something will be done.
Good Luck to everyone. Be nice to figure a way to get this message to all those customers just ordering to warn them before they are out of their money too and no product.
